Blue Ridge Bonsai Society 2025 Bonsai Exhibition – June 7th & 8th 10am – 5pm

The beauty and precision of the bonsia work will be on full display for other to enjoy. This exhibition will feature expert demonstrations and unique tree displays. Live workshops will be happening with a special guest artist. Vendor booths and other bonsai art will be at this immersive celebration of living sculpture.
Art in Bloom – June 19th – July 25th

This event features two gallery exhibits, live flower arrangements, and a local garden tour with working artists. This is a fantastic way of supporting art in our community. During the months of June and July there are a few different exhibits. These will all take place at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts. Each ticket you purchase supports local artists and creative opportunities in Western North Carolina.
Montford Garden Tour – Saturday, June 7, 10am – 4pm

Stroll through eight beautiful gardens in the historic neighborhood of Montford. Each garden will feature live music plein air artists, and guided insights. Neighborhood restaurants and the Holy Trinity Greek Church will offer refreshments. A garden information fair will be located at Montford Public Garden. Proceeds will aid in replacing tree canopy lost during Hurricane Helene.
Antique Automobile History Tours – June 7th, 1pm – 4pm

Located at Pinecrest Bed & Breakfast you can join Mountaineer Motor Tours for one of their pop-up history events. ake a 15 minute ride through the historic Montford neighborhood in our 1923 Ford Model T. The ride is for two riders – cash or card accepted the day of the event. Rides are first come first served. Riders will sign in at the Pinecrest to wait for their ride.
Twilight in the Treetops Summer Night Climbs – June 7th – August 30th, 7:45pm – 9:45pm

Celebrate the Summer with family and friends. Imagine climbing 40 feet in the air and zipping along a hang glider or a sky kayak in the largest adventure park in Western North Carolina. Then, as the sun starts to set, the challenges become illuminated with over 15,000 colored twinkle and laser lights. Five of the Adventure Park’s aerial trails become illuminated with all their leaves, cables, ropes and platforms.
This mystical climbing experience is offered Saturday Nights from June 7- August 30 and Thursday Nights from June 19-August 7 at 7:45 pm. The Twilight Climb is a great way to celebrate with friends and family. It can also be a fun way to have a date!

Asheville Honey Fest – June 8th, 12pm – 6pm

For the fourth year Asheville Honey Fest will be taking place at Highland Brewing Company. This celebration of honeybees includes local food and drink, live music, and community! Hosted by the Center for Honeybee Research, this buzzing festival is designed to educate, entertain, and inspire guests of all ages while highlighting the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem.
Here are some highlights to look forward to:
- Live judging of the internationally renowned Black Jar Honey Contest
- Free public honey tastings featuring entries from around the world
- A curated marketplace of bee-inspired goods, local artisans, and educational booths
- Delicious honey-infused food & drink specials from Highland Brewing and local vendors
- Interactive kids’ activities, including a scavenger hunt with prizes
- Live music from Queen Bee and the Honey Lovers and Chikomo Marimba

North Asheville Tailgate Market – Saturdays 8am -12pm

This wonderful market takes place on Saturdays at the UNC’s Asheville Campus. With all types of vendors, it’s a wonderful way to start your weekend. Shop from a full range of local, sustainably produced produce, meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, honey, plants, prepared foods, crafts and more. Simply Charmed Drop-In Jewelry Workshop – May 27th – July 30th, 11am – 3pm

This is the perfect way to spend a part of your day while visiting our downtown Asheville metalsmithing studio and gallery. Come stamp and hammer a charm to your liking! Choose from more than 60 styles of metal stamps and a variety of jewelers hammers to complete your charm. You will start with a rectangular brass base, (or upgrade to sterling silver in a variety of shapes and styles) then choose your silver accent piece, and finally a gemstone of choice. After a quick demo by the instructor you can spend the next hour to complete your masterpiece.
Our magnetic tumbler will polish your piece to perfection and you have an option of some finishing patinas as well. Upgrade to earrings, make additional pendants for friends etc.

Tuesday Trivia Nights – Unleash your Dog & Brain Power – June – November, 6-8pm

Asheville Tourists Baseball – Through August 26th, 6:35-10pm

Enjoy a local baseball game right in Asheville during these warmer months. This is a family friendly event or a great date night opportunity. The stadium offers food and drink, as well as merchandise. The doors open at 5:30pm and the first pitch is at 6:35pm.
Weaverville’s Music on Main – June 14th, 4-9pm

Weaverville’s 7th annual Music on Main will take place on Saturday, June 14th, 2025! Three bands will be featured at this family-friendly event. This open-air, one-night concert event takes place on South Main Street in front of Town Hall. Every year, Weaverville’s Music on Main features multiple music acts, and sell local food and beer, while sponsors line Main Street, and families can enjoy a dedicated activity zone with activities for kids. It is free and open to the public.Folks are always encouraged to bring chairs, friends, kids, and their appetite.Music on Main is a rain or shine, good time.
Bachata Dance Lesson and Social! Every Thursday w/ Bachata AVL – Through November 20th

Want to learn Bachata? Join Urban Orchard Cider Company every thursday. Dance lesson start at 8:30pm, followed by social time at 9:15pm. Live DJ Bachata nights, combined with some Cha Cha, Cumbia, Merengue and Salsa with Bachata. The $10 entry includes the class and there are cocktails, cider, wine, local beer on draft, domestics in can, and N/A beverages.
