Born and raised in New England and now happily rooted in Western North Carolina, Ashley Sandahl blends northeastern tenacity with southern hospitality in everything she does. A second-generation Realtor®, Ashley brings insight, empathy, and deep experience to helping clients navigate life-changing real estate decisions with confidence and clarity.
Ashley moved to the Carolina Foothills on a whim from Cape Cod in 2015, searching for a funky, foodie, dog- and horse-friendly mountain town that wasn’t too cold or too far from the coast. What began as a pit stop quickly became a forever home. Today, Saluda isn’t just where she lives — it’s where her heart is firmly planted.
With a special love for listings, Ashley has a gift for showcasing homes with personality, charm, and story. She especially enjoys working with older properties and bringing them to life through creative video marketing that highlights what makes each home unique. From vintage cottages and character-filled farmhouses to equestrian dream properties, Ashley knows how to make a home shine.
In addition to real estate, Ashley is the founder of Acting Up Fantasy Events, an immersive theater company creating story-driven performances, community events, and youth programming throughout Western North Carolina. She also serves as Production Coordinator at Mountain Page Theater, where she works year-round supporting productions and helping young performers build confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging through the arts.
Deeply invested in her community, Ashley serves on the board of Saluda Living In Place, volunteers regularly, and cooks breakfast for local veterans at the Senior Center once a month. Giving back isn’t a side project — it’s a core value woven into her everyday life.
Ashley’s greatest joy is being mom to her 7-year-old daughter, Nora. Whether they’re exploring Saluda’s forests and rivers, dreaming up creative projects, or working side-by-side in the community, Ashley and Nora embrace mountain life with curiosity, intention, and heart.
