Ernestina grew up surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Brevard, a place that has shaped not only her childhood but also her sense of identity and belonging. Her mother’s side of the family has proudly called Brevard home for generations, building deep roots in the community that Ernestina treasures today. Her father, originally from Mexico, also embraced Brevard more than forty years ago, making it his home as well. Together, her parents’ backgrounds gave Ernestina a unique appreciation for both her local heritage and her cultural ties to Mexico, which she celebrates with pride.

After graduating from Brevard High School, Ernestina pursued higher education in Dental Hygiene. Her dedication and hard work allowed her to build a rewarding career working both clinically with patients and in administrative roles. These experiences sharpened her professional skills and strengthened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Over time, Ernestina realized that her passion extended beyond healthcare and into serving her community in a different way. Inspired by her love for the mountains and the people who live there, she turned towards real estate. Today, she finds joy in guiding others through the exciting process of finding their own place to call home in the same community that has meant so much to her.

Outside of her work, Ernestina loves to spend time outdoors, hiking trails that wind through the mountains she grew up exploring. She also enjoys traveling, discovering new places, and strolling through downtown Brevard, where she takes in the local charm, familiar faces, and vibrant culture. With every step, Ernestina carries forward her family’s legacy—grounded in tradition, enriched by heritage, and committed to the community she is proud to call home.
