Lisa Presnell is a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and South Carolina. With a passion for this unique mountain region and a deep commitment to her clients, she brings both professional expertise and personal insight to every client transaction.
Her real estate career began in 2006 at Lowcountry Real Estate in Beaufort, South Carolina. In 2017, Lisa and her family followed their hearts to the western North Carolina mountains, settling in Brevard. Since then, she has spent years renovating homes alongside her husband and children, sharpening her design eye and ability to uncover hidden potential in every property. As her children grew more independent, Lisa returned to her calling – helping others find homes that truly fit their lives – when she joined Looking Glass Realty. Known for her renovation experience, patience, and tenacity, she takes pride in guiding clients through each step of the process with integrity and care. Clients often describe her as approachable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable.
Deeply invested in her community, Lisa serves on the boards of The Haven of Transylvania County and the Housing Assistance Corporation, where she advocates for housing stability and access. She also volunteers with Brevard High School’s JROTC program, Through the Trees, the PTSO, and other local initiatives. Raising two children – one serving in the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech and the other at Brevard High School – has given her a personal perspective on the importance of safe housing and the strength of small-town life.
When she’s not working with clients, Lisa enjoys floating the French Broad River, biking in DuPont State Forest, hiking and camping in Pisgah National Forest, or simply relaxing on her porch with a cup of hot tea.
