Calling all fans of classic rock and pop! Don’t miss your chance to experience the incredible sounds of two of music’s greatest legends, Billy Joel and Elton John, brought to life by the ultimate tribute band! DAVID CLARK performs as BILLY JOEL along with BILL CONNORS as ELTON JOHN. This tribute show promises to evoke a wave of nostalgia and joy with hits like “I’m Still Standing”, “Rocket Man”, “Piano Man” and “You May Be Right.” The iconic hits don’t stop, and you won’t want them to!
Ritual Mountain Bike Film Tour @ Trailside Brewing – November 6th

Since humankind invented the wheel, we’ve been determined to take it to new heights, push it to the limit, and revel in the experience. Doubling down for 2026, RITUAL is a big screen celebration of the indomitable human spirit that defines the sport of mountain biking with unforgettable film going experiences. These film series highlights incredible athletes, creative filmmakers, engaging storylines and stunning cinematography, bringing riders together in mountain biking most significant cities and venues.
Cost: $15 per ticket – all proceeds go directly to Dupont State Forest.
Hiking Henderson County – Bearwallow Mountain Trail – November 7th

Henderson County Parks and Recreation is offering guided hiking opportunities. This month is Bearwallow Mountain Trail! Join and we safely explore, learn, and exercise! This is an inclusive program; however, the hikes will vary in difficulty. This is a FREE program, Registration Required.
Trailheads can be difficult to find. At 9am on the day of the community hike, participants will be asked to meet at: 708 S Grove Street Hendersonville, NC 28792
The group will then caravan to the trailhead! During the program we will discuss wildlife, hike etiquette and the use of mobile applications in remote settings. Please note that these programs are subject to weather. Call (828) 845-5780 the day of the hike if you are concerned the hike will be canceled.
Roots of HVL – November 8th

The Roots of HVL Holiday Market takes place on Saturday, November 8, offering a festive kickoff to the season. From 9 AM – 3 PM, more than 20 local artisans will showcase handmade gifts, holiday décor, and unique treasures. Guests can enjoy live music by Conner Hunt from 12–3 PM, along with family fun on the cow train and apple cannon from 10–4. The farm store and bakery will be open from 9–5, featuring seasonal goods, warm apple treats, and holiday flavors.
One Act Festival – November 6th – 16th

Step into the spotlight of creativity at Hendersonville Theatre’s second annual One Act Play Festival! This two week extravaganza celebrates the art of storytelling through a dynamic lineup of short plays, showcasing a kaleidoscope of genres—from laugh-out-loud comedies to heartfelt dramas. Join us every Saturday, 8am to 12pm for the Henderson County Tailgate Market. We have local, organic and conventional produce, bedding plants, flowers, herbs, baked goods, canned goods for purchase. Flat Rock Playhouse Presents: John Lloyd Young: Broadway’s Jersey Boy – November 13th & 14th

Film, stage and concert artist, John Lloyd Young, is a Tony and Grammy winner, multi-Platinum recording artist and Presidential Appointee. As the original “Frankie Valli” in Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys, Young garnered unprecedented accolades from the New York and national media, going on to become the only American actor to date to win all four major Broadway Leading Actor in a Musical honors for a Broadway debut: the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Award. Young starred in Jersey Boys on London’s West End, and was hand-picked by director Clint Eastwood to reprise his role in the Warner Bros. film adaptation, becoming one of only a select-few actors in entertainment history to take his Tony-winning role to the big screen.
Repticon AVL – November 15th & 16th

Like snakes? other reptiles? Then you need to come to Repticon on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16 to see all kinds of creatures!! This show features everything that you’ve come to love most about Repticon’s two days of fun and excitement! See live animals from around the world, purchase pets and pet products direct from the experts at amazing prices you won’t find anywhere else, and learn more about reptiles and exotic animals. Repticon Asheville is one reptile and exotic animal expo that you can’t afford to miss! Join us on Saturday, 9am to 4pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC. Tickets are available online $6.00 to $15.00
Train Days – November 15th

Visit the Hendersonville Train Depot at 650 Maple Street on Saturday November 15, 2025 from 10 to 4pm to celebrate Train Day. Blue Ridge Southern Railroad will have a locomotive on display with engineer and conductor to answer questions. A national park ranger from the Carl Sandburg home will be on hand to answer questions about the Sandburgs, thier home and goats! Mrs Sandburg raised national prize winning goats and transported them by rail to contests accross the country. Visit the station to see our HO scale layout representing towns in Western North Carolina that had rail service from the 1950’s to mid 1960’s. See the garden railroad trackside that represents gravel and timber operations in Western North Carolina in the early 1900’s. There is no admission charge, but donations are cheerfully accepted.
Winter Lights at North Carolina Arboretum – November 15th – Jan 4th

We look forward to welcoming you back for another year of Asheville’s Brightest Holiday Tradition from November 15 to January 4! Winter Lights is a spectacular open-air walk-through light show made from over one million lights! Located at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, North Carolina, this year’s event features favorites like the famously tall 50-foot lighted tree and the Quilt Garden, along with enchanting new details designed to delight and surprise. Troll sightings are anticipated at this year’s Winter Lights, as six of Dambo’s Trolls will be experiencing the show for themselves. Meet them in the gardens at Winter Lights! Tickets are sold per vehicle and there are 3 entry times daily, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.
2025 National Gingerbread House Competition – November 18th – January 4th

The Omni Grove Park Inn invites guests to experience the 33rd Annual National Gingerbread House Competition, showcasing over 45 extraordinary edible creations from bakers of all ages. Entries will be displayed throughout the resort from November 18, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The competition, held on November 17, offers more than $40,000 in cash and prizes. While judging is closed to the public, the public is welcome to view the displays after 6 p.m. on Sundays and anytime Monday through Thursday, excluding certain holidays and dates.
28th Annual Henderson County Toy Run – November 22nd

Join on Saturday, November 22 for the 28th Annual Henderson County Toy Run. This event collects toys and raises money for foster children and children in need. Registration is between 10am and 1pm at Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher, NC with kickstands up at 1:30pm when riders will head to the Henderson County Courthouse. Don’t have a bike? That’s okay, come drop off toys, donations and hang out. There will be live music, bbq lunch, door prizes, 50/50 drawing and t-shirts available.

Friendsgiving – November 22nd

The 5K Course begins in front of City Hall at Fifth Avenue East and King Street, travels through downtown, and ends back at City Hall.

Love Local Makers Weekend – November 28th & 29th

The event will feature over 40 local makers with new businesses to shop from each day. Guests can enjoy live music on Friday and Saturday while browsing and sipping craft beer. The weekend celebrates community, connection, and supporting local businesses during Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Every purchase helps small business owners and keeps money in the community. Shopping local this season can make a real difference in helping these businesses thrive into the next year.
Holiday Tree Lighting – November 28th

All are welcome to gather on the Historic Courthouse Plaza to sing Christmas carols, sip hot cocoa and watch for the man in red. Kick off Small Business Saturday early by visiting your favorite downtown merchants! Once Santa arrives, he will flip the switch to illuminate the tree on the plaza and the lights along Main Street.

Henderson County Curb Market Christmas Open House – November 29th

The Henderson County Curb Market celebrates the holidays with a Christmas Open House. Visitors will enjoy a drop-in from Santa and his elves, complimentary cookies, hot chocolate and hot cider, a raffle basket, a children’s activity table, the community Peppermint Bear scavenger hunt and shopping for the perfect hand crafted gifts created by local vendors.
