Be Your Guide

Lauren is a Western North Carolina native – born in Hendersonville, raised in Polk County. She’s known for her go-getter attitude and dedication to helping others whenever she can. She was introduced to Looking Glass Realty through friends at the Saluda Office and soon fit right in as the Office Administrator for our Hendersonville Office.

There, she serves as the hub for our Hendersonville agents, offering an in-person contact for clients, technical support and social media presence – among many other roles! In her free time, you can find her playing volleyball and soccer, riding her bike on the Oklawaha Greenway, or catching up with friends at one of Hendersonville’s many breweries, wineries, or delicious local restaurants.

Growing up in the beauty and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains taught her to appreciate where she calls home and never take it for granted. She has always been fond of writing; whether it be poetry, songs or birthday letters for her friends. Having WNC as her little slice of heaven to live and thrive in has influenced much of Lauren’s writing – her surroundings providing plenty of creative inspiration.

Lauren took that love for writing with her when she attended UNC-Chapel Hill, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Reporting and a minor in Spanish. While being at school proved to be both an exciting and challenging experience, she felt her friends, family and the mountains in WNC calling out to her. After earning her degree, she knew where she was headed next: home!

As someone who aims to create and strengthen lasting relationships with the people around her, Lauren believes it truly is the little things that matter most. She strives to have a steadfast shoulder to lean on; be it a coworker, friend, or stranger. Her strengths lie in her ability to listen and connect to others, while also staying grounded in a solution-based mindset. She is dedicated to promoting each and every success of her coworkers, and she’s always around the office to share a laugh and spread the love.
