Melissa Moore is a native North Carolinian and grew up in the foothills of Rutherford County. Prior to moving into real estate, Melissa spent many years working in Interior Design and Project Management for Luxe Home Couture in Charlotte, Ambiance Interiors in Asheville, and the award winning design team of Blackberry Farm near Knoxville, TN. She has an affinity for mid-century modern design and historic preservation. Through her design experience and passion for helping homeowners realize the potential of their space, Melissa gained an interest in residential real estate and became a licensed agent.

Well acclimated to Asheville’s creative community, Melissa has an amazing network of friends and colleagues and is an invaluable resource to her clients. Melissa takes pride in carefully listening to individual needs and goals. She puts a strong emphasis on education throughout the process so her clients are able to make informed decisions. Her thoughtful approach and strong attention to detail combined with her cheerful personality ensure a pleasant experience from initial meeting to closing, all while cultivating a relationship with as much fun and laughter as possible.

When Melissa isn’t working, she enjoys long walks around the Montford neighborhood where she lives, meeting friends out for live music shows, dining at any of Asheville’s wonderful restaurants and reading everything she possibly can. Her favorite local author is the great Wayne Caldwell. She loves spending time with her family and especially loves her role as “Aunt Tata” for Henry, Brody, Townes, Libby and Polly.
