Art Demonstration by Barbara Wilcox – Daily through Saturday, November 30th

Join at Art MoB Studios for an exclusive trunk show featuring the exceptional bead artist Barbara Wilcox. This event takes place each day of this week from 11AM-3PM.

Known for her intricate and stunning jewelry and holiday ornament designs, Barbara’s work showcases a masterful use of color and texture that transforms beads into wearable art and holiday ornaments. Barbara has studied in the Czech Republic and throughout the country from internationally recognized instructors. Friendsgiving Eve Party – Wednesday, November 27th

Head over to Mills River Brewing Co. for an evening of food, fun, music and drinks! This event is from 6PM-8PM and free to the public. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the night before Thanksgiving. Mills River Brewing Co. is located at 336 Banner Farm Road, Mills River, NC 28759.

HVL Turkey Trot 5k – Thursday, November 28th

The City of Hendersonville welcomes the 12th annual fun walk/run on Thanksgiving morning to get people moving before the eating begins. Bring the family and the dog for a walk/run through the streets of downtown Hendersonville. This is a non-sanctioned event – no official timing will be available. The race begins at 8:30AM at City Hall. Registration is $15, which includes a long sleeve t-shirt. If you don’t want a shirt, no worries! Just show up and be part of the fun. Love Local Makers Weekend – Friday, November 29th – Saturday, November 30th

Join Trailside Brewing Co. for an unforgettable small business weekend. Each day will have new businesses to shop from. Over 40 makers total will attend! Live music is also scheduled for you to enjoy Friday and Saturday while you shop – and of course tasty beer! Friends and Neighbors will provide a yummy “pay what you can” Community meal on Saturday! A Flat Rock Playhouse Christmas – Friday November 29th – Saturday December 21st

All new renditions of your holiday favorites will help you get those sleigh bells jinglin,’ and chestnuts roasting! There is truly no better way to kick off your holiday season. Christmas on the Farm – Sunday, December 1st

Bring the family to Grandad’s Apple Farm to enjoy the Christmas festivities! Complete with pre-cut Christmas Trees, light displays, Moo-dolph train, 10 varieties of apples, Santa visits and more! No admission fees or reservations required! Cow Train and Apple Cannon are running Saturdays and Sundays through December. It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play – Thursday December 5th – Sunday, December 15th

Hendersonville Theater presents Frank Capra’s beloved American holiday classic film – reimagined as a live 1940s radio broadcast. Set in Studio A at WBFR in Manhattan on Christmas Eve 1946, this hilarious re-enactment, with the help of a live Foley and a talented small ensemble, brings the entire town of Bedford Falls to life on stage. Small-town everyman George Bailey is having a Christmas Eve that can only be saved by a miracle. Enter George’s guardian angel, Clarence, who takes him on a heartwarming journey of redemption proving that “no one is a failure who has friends.” Tickets range from $20-32.

7th Avenue Historic District Pup Crawl – Paw-liday Edition! – Saturday, December 7th

Join us for the 4th annual 7th Avenue District Pup Crawl from 12pm to 5pm, where dog owners and pet lovers come together for a fun experience and raise funds for the Blue Ridge Humane Society. Participants purchase “Pawsports” and tour dog-friendly 7th Avenue District food and beverage businesses, earning stamps at each stop for a chance to win a grand prize. No dog? No problem! You can still have fun with a human-only Pawsport, which allows you to collect all 6 stamps and be entered into the drawing! Pawsports range from $20-$40.

Holidays in HVL by the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra – Sunday, December 8th

Join the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra at 3pm at the Blue Ridge Community College for their 2024 holiday concert. The HSO will perform seasonal and holiday classics during the show.
