Blind Draw Cornhole Tournaments @ The Main Event – Weekly on Tuesdays

French Broad Valley Mountain Music Jam – Weekly on Wednesdays

6-8 PM, Join Trailside Brewing Company for a weekly mountain music JAM with players in a round, where the session is focused on regional fiddle tunes and songs. You are welcome to come and listen or to learn and join in. This event supports the Henderson County Junior Appalachian Musician (JAM) Kids Program, Free but donations are accepted. Dance Lessons @ Honeysuckle Holler – Weekly on Thursdays

Acoustic Jam Sesh – Weekly on Fridays

Every Friday from 4-7PM plan to collaborate with other musicians at Sideways Farm & Brewery in Etowah. Bring your instruments and voices and enjoy making music and networking with other artists, while enjoying the beautiful scenery. HVL Farmers Market – Weekly on Saturdays

Discover a taste of local at The Main Street Farmers Market! Explore fresh, local produce in Downtown Hendersonville from 9AM-1PM. The Farmers Market aims to support local farmers, bakers & makers in the off season of the City’s popular Farmers Market. Hosted on beautiful Main St. in Downtown. Jackson Park Bird Outing – 2nd Saturday each month

Join the Blue Ridge Audubon, a chapter of the National Audubon Society for their monthly bird walk at Jackson Park, a renowned birding location. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, meet at the Administration Building parking lot, located on Glover Street, and join the group to see the many wonderful birds found at Jackson Park, Hendersonville’s largest park. Game Night @ Trailside Brewing – 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month

5-7 PM, Trailside is partnering with Hendersonville Toy Company to bring you a fun and interactive way to enjoy your Sunday evenings. Try out a variety of games while sipping on your favorite brew. Creating an Abstract Collage Series – Thursday, March 6th

1-5 PM, Artist Diane Dean will lead this one-day class and will explore techniques in collage onto stretched canvas. Students will create a collage using a limited range of color values. We will work on a large canvas surface and once the collage is done, choose sections to cut out to create a multi-piece collection. This approach challenges students to work intuitively and focus on colors and forms in a loose composition. All papers, canvas, tools, and paint will be provided. Bring a roll of paper towels, and scissors. Students will be able to choose from a wide variety of paper and found objects and also bring their own if they wish. Located at Art Place Studio Classroom, 2021 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

Flat Rock Playhouse present Shades of Bublé – Thursday, March 6th – Saturday March 8th

Shows at 2 PM and 7:30PM, Shades of Bublé brings the swinging standards and pop hits of Michael Bublé to the stage in an unforgettable high-energy concert event. This act consistently wows audiences around the country with exciting harmonies, smooth choreography, and charming, good looks, combining big-band standards from the jazz era, classic hits from the 50s/60s/70s, as well as Billboard chart toppers from today in a high-energy show that generates standing ovations from sold-out crowds. Hiking Henderson County – Trombatore Trail – Friday, March 7th

Henderson County Parks and Recreation is offering guided hiking opportunities. This month is Trombatore Trail! Join and we safely explore, learn, and exercise! This is an inclusive program; however, the hikes will vary in difficulty. This is a FREE program, Registration Required.

Trailheads can be difficult to find. At 9 AM on the day of the community hike, participants will be asked to meet at: 708 S Grove Street Hendersonville, NC 28792. The group will then caravan to the trailhead! During the program we will discuss wildlife, hike etiquette and the use of mobile applications in remote settings. Please note that these programs are subject to weather. Call (828) 845-5780 the day of the hike if you are concerned the hike will be canceled.

Important items that participants need to bring: Sunscreen, Closed Toed Shoes, Water, Snacks

Women’s Day Art Festival – Saturday, March 8th

Celebrate International Women’s Day with The Arts Council of Henderson County! Join us on Saturday, March 8th from 10 AM – 5 PM. This Art Market will feature Women Artists from Western North Carolina + Live music + Food + Raffle Prizes! Join at the Welcome Center Parking lot for a great day of support and celebration! Brevard Philharmonic presents Chamber Strings – Sunday, March 9th

The Brevard Philharmonic proudly presents an enchanting afternoon of chamber music with its Chamber Strings concert on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 3 PM. Set in the intimate and acoustically rich setting of the Brevard-Davidson River Church, this concert showcases the elegance and brilliance of the Brevard Philharmonic’s chamber orchestra.

This carefully curated program celebrates the beauty and versatility of string music, spotlighting a variety of composers and styles that promise to captivate and inspire. From the playful rhythms of Grainger’s Molly on the Shore to the serene and lyrical melodies of Sibelius’s Impromptu, each piece demonstrates the expressive power of strings.

The program also includes Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No. 2, a work filled with youthful energy and rich harmonic textures, as well as Mozart’s delightful Divertimento in B-flat, a shining example of classical elegance. To add depth and contrast, Janáček’s Idyll brings a touch of Bohemian charm with its folk-inspired themes and heartfelt lyricism. Hendersonville Community Band Concert – Sunday, March 9th

Hendersonville Community Band will present their Spring concert on Sunday 9 March at 3 PM at the Blue Ridge Conference Hall on the campus of the Blue Ridge Community College . There is no better way to bring in the spring than with beautiful music. Tickets are available at the door for $12, and can also be purchased in advance at the Hendersonville Welcome Center (cash or check). Student admissions are free. Learning to Dance with Dementia – Thursday, March 13th

A free dementia workshop at The Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness. From 1-3:30PM in the Parish Hall across the street from the church, located at 1905 Greenville Highway in Flat Rock.

Unlock the secrets to compassionate and effective dementia care at this workshop with Mary Donnelly, a dynamic dementia consultant. This interactive session offers insight and strategies to help caregivers navigate the delicate balance of communicating with a person whose brain is changing.

Disc Golf @ Jackson Park – Saturday, March 15th

Did you know that Jackson Park here in Hendersonville, NC is one the highest ranked disc course in the region? Come join at Jackson Park for the Profession Disc Golfers Association’s (PDGA) Jackson Park Spring Open. Round 1 shotgun start at 9AM; round 2 shotgun start is at 1PM. This is a one day, two round PDGA c-tier event, meaning you do not need to be a current PDGA member to participate. For players without current PDGA membership, the fee is $15; for PDGA members, the fee is $55. No cost to spectators!

Historic Church Tours – Saturday, March 15th

Tours of the Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness in Flat Rock are back!

The guided tours of the church and churchyard (cemetery) are led by church docents. “One of the joys of attending a beautiful holy place like St. John in the Wilderness is sharing it with our visitors. Our history is intertwined not just with the history of Flat Rock, but with that of coastal South Carolina, the home of our founders and earliest congregants,” said lead docent Polly Morrice.

Held on the third Saturdays of the month from March through December, tours start inside the Carriage Door entrance of the Church promptly at 11 AM and last about an hour. Additional tours are held seasonally on the first Saturday of the month from June through September. There will be no rain dates and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.

The tours are free but advance reservations must be made online through the church’s website, www.stjohnflatrock.org/tours. Space is limited for each tour. Located at 1905 Greenville Highway,

St. Patrick Concert @ Kanuga – Saturday, March 15th

Kanuga’s musician-in-residence Rev. Simon Ruth de Voil and folk artist Samara Jade honor the feast day of St. Patrick with an evening of Celtic music, story, lore and handcraft. In addition to the concert, guests can enjoy beverages, good company and a buffet — and try their hands at weaving St. Brigid’s cross for protection and well-being in the year to come. Spring Equinox Concert @ Kanuga – Thursday, March 20th

The Spring Equinox Concert, held on Kanuga’s labyrinth, ushers in the season of renewal with music to soothe the soul and nourish the spirit. As dusk falls to starlight and birdsong gives way to the frog chorus, Kanuga’s musician-in-residence Rev. Simon Ruth de Voil invites guests to honor the balance and energy of spring while immersed in nature under the open sky. The buffet-style dinner begins at 5:30 PM, and the concert follows at 7:15 PM. Ride Rock Creek Rumble Youth XC Race – Friday March 21st – Saturday March 22nd

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the trails at the first-ever Rock Creek Rumble! Hosted at the stunning Rock Creek Bike Park on March 21 and 22, this youth XC race is exclusively for riders under 18 who are ready to take on the challenge of our established XC course.
