4th Friday Gallery Walk to Benefit River Arts District Artists – Saturday, October 25 from 5 PM to 7 PM
Please join The Lucy Clark Gallery and Studio to help show the love. With the devastation of the majority of The River Arts District in Asheville, NC., the gallery will donate 10% of sales during Gallery Walk to their relief and rebuilding efforts.
Thunderween Bash – Friday, October 25 @ 7:30 PM
The 8th annual Thunderween Bash is underway! This event will be held on Friday, October 25th starting at 7:30 PM at 185 King Street in Brevard. Scan the QR code on the flyer for tickets or purchase them at the venue the night of the event. All proceeds will benefit the Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County.

Community Benefit Concert for Transylvania County Hurricane Relief – Saturday, October 26 at 5 PM on East Main Street in Brevard
From the Heart of Brevard: Following our traditional Halloweenfest, we’re thrilled to introduce a Community Benefit Concert on the main stage featuring The Steep Canyon Rangers and The Travis Book Band! This special concert is a fundraiser in support of the Transylvania Tomorrow Hurricane Relief Fund, with a goal to raise $500K for local businesses in need. We’re excited to host this FREE Benefit Concert to bring our community together and offer support to those affected. Don’t miss out on this incredible evening of music, unity, and giving back! Bring a chair, a friend and your dancing shoes!
Beer Garden featuring Oskar Blues Brewing and wine will be available for purchase. Local food trucks will be on-site, so come hungry!
The concert is free to attend, but donations are strongly encouraged, with plenty of opportunities to give throughout the event. Every donation will directly support Transylvania Tomorrow’s hurricane recovery efforts. If you can’t attend in person, don’t worry—we’ll be live-streaming the event so you can join in from anywhere.
Flight of the Vampire 5k – Run or Walk on Saturday, October 26 at 9 AM
Join the Rotary Club of Brevard for a 5k starting at the Depot on Railroad Avenue at 9 AM. The cost is $35 and a T-shirt is included. Click here to register!
Andy Bracken Music & Dinner at Cathey’s Creek Community Center at 6 PM
Stop by the Cathery’s Creek Community Center located at 131 Island Ford Road in Brevard for music by local favorite Andy Bracken at 6 PM followed by dinner at 7 PM. The cost is $14 and dinner is included.
Forks of the River – Fly Fishing Festival on Saturday, November 2nd from 11 AM – 5 PM
Come out and support local fly shops and guide services to help them recover from damage and loss due to Hurricane Helene. They will be hosting information booths for all area fly shops and guide services who wish to participate. You will have a chance to support these small businesses, and for every $50 you spend booking trips, purchasing online orders, and/or gift cards, you receive raffle tickets to enter 2-3 incredible fishing trips that have been donated. Transylvania Farmers Market- Weekly on Saturdays
The Transylvania Farmers Market is a local favorite in Downtown Brevard. Held every Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM (10 AM November through April) at 200 East Main Street. Browse several local vendors for handmade and baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, live music, and more! Check out the vendor schedule here.
Mountain Legacies: Exploring Appalachian Culture
On Saturday, October 26th, join the Transylvania Heritage Museum for Appalachian Ghost Stories! The cost is $10 per person and the tour departs from the Heritage Museum at 4:30 PM and 6 PM.
Join the Transylvania Heritage Museum every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 3 PM to learn more about Appalachian Culture. They are located at 189 West Main Street in Brevard and the exhibit will run through October 21st.
Brevard Music Center
