Bark & Bolt Races – Friday, June 14th

The Bark and Bolt races in Hendersonville, North Carolina, are a wonderful occasion that celebrates both canine companions and their human counterparts. This distinctive race, which starts and ends at Patton Park, is offered as a 5k, 1 mile or 100m paw pursuit, so anyone and any pup can participate.

Bark and Bolt emphasizes the bond between dogs and owners by allowing them to get active together while also taking in the beauty of the outdoors here in western North Carolina.

Dog or no dog, all are welcome to join in on the fun, whether you run the race or just support from the sidelines! Patton Park is located at 1730 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792.

The Hendersonville Triathlon – Saturday, June 15th

The Hendersonville Triathlon begins with a swim start at the Patton Park pool at 7 AM. Participants will swim 400 meters, transition to a 12.5-mile bike race, and finish out the event with a 3.1-mile run. This race beckons athletes every year, bringing in participants from both near and far to put their endurance, speed, and skill to the test.

Across the scenic landscape of western North Carolina, athletes embark on a journey, showcasing their resilience and determination while surpassing personal boundaries. This race is more than just a competition; the Hendersonville Triathlon fosters a welcoming environment for newcomers, promoting a sense of community and a dedication to fitness.

Known for its meticulously planned course, awesome volunteers, and the breathtaking backdrop of Hendersonville’s scenery, this event has cemented its status as a must-attend race. The Patton Park pool is located at 114 E Clairmont Dr., Hendersonville, NC 28792.

Rhythm n’ Brews Concert in Downtown Hendersonville, NC – Thursday, June 20th

The Rhythm & Brews Concert Series is a vibrant fusion of live music, local craft beverages, and community spirit! These lively performances occur monthly, transforming a section of South Main Street into a hub of entertainment. A variety of local food trucks will be on site to make snacking or grabbing dinner a breeze.

The festivities kick off with an opening act at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Headliner from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This month’s performers are Queen Bee and the Honeylovers and Peggy Ratusz & Daddy LongLegs, who will bring the fun of blues, swing and jazz music to Downtown Hendersonville!

Adults can savor a selection of Henderson County’s finest beverages from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Bold Rock Hard Cider, Guidon Brewing Co., Oklawaha Brewing Co., Dry Falls Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards, and Flat Rock Cider Company.

For the young ones, the Hendersonville Honeycrisps & Hendersonville Toy Company Kid Zone will bring kid-friendly entertainment, including hula-hooping, activities, and games.

Summer Session 5k in Hendersonville, NC – Saturday, June 29th

The Summer Session 5K in Hendersonville, NC features a beautiful course through some of Hendersonville‘s quaint neighborhoods. This race starts and ends at Trailside Brewing, located at 873 Lenox Park Dr, Hendersonville, NC 28739.

Kicking off at 8AM, enjoy your run (or walk!) and celebrate afterwards with a delicious cold beer! All registered participants aged 21+ will receive a free beer from Trailside Brewing once they cross the finish line.

Flat Rock Farmer’s Market – Weekly on Thursdays

Flat Rock, NC hosts their farmer’s market weekly on Thursdays from 3-6PM at the Pinecrest ARP Church, located at 1790 Greenville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Join in on Thursday, June 13th, June 20th and June 27th for local produce, hand-made goods and other treats!

Hendersonville Farmer’s Market – Weekly on Saturdays

Hendersonville, NC hosts their farmer’s market weekly on Saturdays from 8AM-1PM, which takes place at the Historic Train Depot in downtown Hendersonville’s Seventh Avenue District, located at 650 Maple Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Join in on Saturday, June 15th, June 22nd and June 29th for local produce, hand-made goods, and other treats!

Mill’s River Farmer’s Market – Weekly on Saturdays

Mills River, NC hosts their farmer’s market weekly on Saturdays from 8AM-12PM, which takes place at the Mills River Elementary School, located at 94 School House Road, Mills River, NC 28759.
